Esteven! Once again, thanks for sharing your stories. This is by far my favorite blog. You should really think about publishing these anecdotes. I know I'd buy the book. Keep it up!

I liked your descrpition of the Canadian woman best.

I brush my teeth in the shower all the time. It's like having a giant Water Pic on the ceiling.

It amazes me every day the kind of really moronic questions you get asked when you work in a tourist trap. Even a high class tourist trap. It's good to see that someone else has to deal with these people too, and that he handles it roughly the same way I do, with a gring and a snappy comment thatthey don't get, but he ragales his friends with later. Thank you for bringing us into the circle of friends with which you laugh.

So I come back from vacation and find not 1 but 3 new posts--what luck for my laughing pleasure!

This is my favorite line of your post:

"A woman approaches me. She’s wearing a wide-brimmed hat that says “Canada,” and a cheesy grin. Both are too big for her head."

Canadians...I've known some great ones...

It's 3am where I am. Spelling is optional at this hour.

I love how you always manage to bring your posts full circle.

Wow, um so I think you already know I'm canadian, but right now I'm embarrassed to admit it. Even my grandmother isn't that stupid, and she's very um, sheltered. (Her one attempt at making "ethnic food", read not meat and potatoes, is chop suey from a a can over VERY mushy rice.)

My husband would be saying that people like that were why he couldn't wait to leave. But truthfully he just doesn't like people, he is also a moronophobe. And he took massage therapy, this is getting spooky. :)

Isn't it the worst when you make some not-so-obscure reference but the other person doesn't get it? I hate that. It's never as funny after you have to explain yourself.

Great post. Again.
